Our Chef
Ivan Zanfino, Chef of our restaurant, originally from Acri (Cs), has cultivated his passion for cooking since he was young, learning alongside his grandmother and mother. He graduated from the Hotel Institute in Paola (Cs), and after various professional experiences, earned a Master’s in Haute Cuisine in 2013 from the Alajmo Brothers in Vicenza. He refined his culinary skills by studying and working alongside renowned chefs. A significant milestone came in 2014 at the three-Michelin-star restaurant Da Vittorio in Brusaporto, owned by the Cerea family, after which he took on the role of Sous Chef at the Amistà Restaurant in the Byblos Art Hotel 5L in Corrubio in 2015. By 2017, he moved to Verona city center, where he served as Executive Chef in a hotel of the same level.
In 2023, he joined the Caceffo family’s project, bringing him to Custoza. Inspired by the surrounding nature, Chef Zanfino creates seasonal menus that change with the seasons, elegantly reinterpreting the treasures of our land and enhancing their authentic flavors.
